The name "La Credenza di Augusto 1894" stems from the historical and culinary legacy of the hotel, whose first chef was August Escoffier, who inaugurated the then Grand Hotel. A profound admirer of the simplicity and authenticity of raw materials, Escoffier coined the motto "Good cooking is the basis of genuine, healthy happiness."
